Hijrah is an occasion that reminds us of the sufferings of Muslims and how they left all worldly pleasures to please Allah. Hijrah is not only about changing places of abode to a new address. It is more than that.. Even, it can be a starting point to review our personal progress.
“On the Day of Resurrection, man will be asked about four matters: How he spent his life time, how he spent his youth, from where he acquired his wealth, and how he spent it, and what he did with his knowledge.” -Subhanallah
Well new year has always been a time for looking back to the past, and more important, forward to the coming year. It is a time to reflect on the changes we want or need to make.
